Corey Parker graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law where he served as the President of the Student Bar Association and received the highest grade in the class in Sentencing and Plea Bargaining and Pretrial Advocacy.

Corey completed his undergraduate study at the University of Washington and knew at an early age that criminal defense would be his calling. Corey understands that as humans, we sometimes act on impulse and make mistakes or sometimes we are accused of crimes that we did not commit. Either way, Corey’s desire to help people has made him a formidable advocate for his clients.

During law school, Corey worked as a public defender, handling hundreds of criminal hearings before graduating. Corey has swiftly developed a strong reputation as an effective advocate and his results in the courtroom speak for themselves.

Corey has handled several complex felonies that he has successfully resolved down to misdemeanors with no jail time. He recently achieved a “not guilty verdict” in a Felony Jury Trial in King County Superior Court for a client’s Theft of a Motor Vehicle conviction, demonstrating that he will fight until the end to prove his client’s innocence.

Using his innovative style of negotiating, coupled with his tireless work ethic, Corey continues to achieve impressive results in DUI cases across the State of Washington. His formidable knowledge of the breath alcohol testing has led to the suppression of breath tests for a number of his clients. Corey is thorough, detail oriented and always prepared for court. He stays on the forefront of current DUI litigation.

In defending his clients with DUI’s, Corey has negotiated several DUI cases down to Negligent Driving in the First Degree. Recently he negotiated a client’s Criminal DUI to a traffic infraction.

In addition to courtroom successes, Corey has put his vivacious writing style to use with petitioning the United States Supreme Court for a Writ of Certiorari. He also succeeded with his work on an appellate brief, submitted to the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I, which was ruled in the client’s favor. Corey uses his strong motion writing in negotiations with the prosecutors and arguments submitted to the judge.

Several of Corey’s clients have commented on his ability to make them feel comfortable throughout the legal process. He prides himself on being accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and strives to answer questions and concerns as swiftly as possible.

Corey has an innate gift as an eloquent public speaker, thus earning the respect of judges, prosecutors and clients in Washington and acting as a strong mouthpiece for his clients’ rights. He understands the importance of freedom and works diligently to keep his clients out of jail and to hold the government to its burden of proof.
